Who is Maxime Sigouin?
Maxime Sigouin is the founder of Mavy Wellness, a coaching company that helps adults over 50 lose body fat, build strength and stay independent on a whole food plant based diet. He is the author of the book Forever Fit, the host of the Forever Fit Podcast, with more than 450 episodes, and he has coached, with his team, nearly 1,300 people.
Maxime founded the company as FitVegan Coaching and rebranded it as Mavy Wellness on January 1, 2026, with his wife and cofounder Ivy. Maxime and Ivy lead the group coaching program, Maxime hosts the weekly live sessions, and Ivy runs the consultation calls with new clients.
His approach, the Forever Fit method, is built on a few ideas:
Whole food plant based eating is great for health, but body composition needs more: enough protein and strength training.
Slow and steady wins. Gradual fat loss, then reverse dieting, then building muscle.
Progress, not perfection. Just win your next meal.
You can't lose if you don't quit.
One of his success stories is personal: his mom, Lise, joined his program at 57 and went from 184 to 133 pounds.
