Plant based body recomposition coaching for adults over 50

Do you feel like you're doing everything "right"and you're still stuck and not seeing results?

Watch this video if you're ready to level up

Do you feel like you are doing everything right with your fitness and your nutrition, but you are still not seeing the results that you want? And do you feel that because you are over the age of 50, it might be impossible for you? If that is you, keep reading.

When we are over the age of 50, we require a much more methodical approach, because the body does not respond the same way it did when we were 20 years old, where we could just go for a few extra workouts, eat less for a few days, and lose weight. We know this because we have coached hundreds of people in their 20s and their 30s, and over a thousand people ranging from 50 years old to 87 years old. The body does not respond the same way.

Be honest with yourself

If this is you...

  • You have watched the weight creep on slowly over the years, and nothing you try turns it around
  • You have done a DEXA scan or a bone scan, the results shocked you, and you do not want to continue down this path
  • You eat less than you used to, and the belly fat still will not budge
  • You are losing strength and muscle, and everyday things feel harder than they should
  • You have tried the diets, the programs, and the apps, and you always end up back where you started
  • You think about your blood work, your energy, and your mobility more than you used to
  • You are quietly worried about what the next 10, 20, or 30 years look like if nothing changes
  • You want to stay strong, independent, and fully present for your family, your travels, and your life

If you nodded your way down that list, keep reading. You are exactly who we built this for.

The Mavy method

Here is how we help

At Mavy Wellness, we help people over 50 lose fat, build real strength, and defy aging through whole food plant based nutrition and strength training. No starvation. No magic pills. No plan you have to be perfect at to succeed.

Private 1:1 accountability calls

Every week, you get on a private call with your own coach. They review your week, adjust your plan, and keep you honest. This is the piece most people have never had, and it changes everything.

Weekly group calls

Live group coaching calls every week, where you learn alongside people on the same journey and get your questions answered in real time.

A community in your corner

Access to a private community of like minded people eating and training the same way you are. You never have to do this alone.

Whole food plant based nutrition

Eating in a way that helps reduce inflammation in the body, lower cholesterol, and improve blood pressure, while keeping you full so fat loss never feels like a fight.

Strength training

Training that protects your bones, rebuilds your muscle, and raises the amount of food you can eat while you lose fat.

Cardiovascular exercise

Cardio to increase your VO2 capacity and keep your heart strong, because a strong body means nothing without a strong heart behind it.

The coaching corner

A question between calls? Drop it in the coaching corner and we answer it for you on the group calls, so you are never stuck wondering what to do.

A plan that meets you where you are at

Whether you are starting from ground zero or you are already at level 10, we meet you where you are at and build you toward where you want to go.

Tools that last a lifetime

A sustainable approach, not another diet you start and stop. We teach you the tools, habits, and skills to do this for the rest of your life, long after your coaching ends.

Fitness builds the body. Nutrition reveals it. We coach both to ensure a successful transformation.

Honest expectations

How to know if we are a good fit

We are honest about this part, because the people who get extraordinary results with us share a few things in common.

โœ“ You will do well with us if

  • You are coachable, and you are genuinely ready to be guided
  • You are ready to take imperfect action instead of waiting for the perfect plan or the perfect Monday
  • You are willing to build the majority, or all, of your eating around whole plant foods
  • You are willing to strength train, even if it feels clunky at the start
  • You are willing to be honest with yourself and with your coach, and to show up for your check ins
  • You understand this is a lifestyle change, not a 30 day fix
  • You actually want to do the work

โœ• We are not the right fit if

  • You are not coachable, and you are attached to your old ways of doing things, the same ways that have not worked for you
  • You are looking for a shortcut, a cleanse, or a magic pill
  • You want the results without changing how you eat or how you move
  • You are not willing to strength train
  • You plan to negotiate with the plan every single week
  • You want someone else to do the work for you

No hard feelings if you saw yourself in the second list. We simply recommend that you do not book a call, because it would not be the right fit for us to work together. We only work with people who are in the right frame of mind to create sustainable change.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What's the investment to work with you?

It depends on how much support you want. Our programs start at $97 a month, and our 1:1 coaching runs several hundred dollars a month, depending on how much customization, accountability and structure you need.

If you'd like to start on your own first, the Forever Fit Starter Kit is a one-time $47 and gives you our meal plans, our mindset course and our community.

On a free call, Ivy will walk you through the options and help you find the one that fits your goals and your budget. No pressure either way.

Is this only for people who already eat plant-based?

No. Most of our members eat whole-food plant-based or mostly plant-based, and everything we teach is built around plants. If you're curious about eating more plants, you're welcome here too. We'll meet you where you're at.

I'm over 60 (or 70, or 80). Is it too late for me?

It's never too late. Members in their 60s, 70s and 80s are lifting, getting stronger and keeping up with the people they love. One of our members started at 86 and can now lift her own carry-on into the overhead bin again.

I've never lifted weights. Where do I start?

That's completely fine, and very common. We'll meet you where you're at, fitness-wise. Whether you start at the gym, at home, or with a few basic exercises, we show you exactly what to do and how to do it safely. Then we build you up, step by step, to where you want to be. You don't need any experience.

I have sore knees, a bad back or a cranky shoulder. Can I still do this?

Most of our members have something. We adjust exercises so they're kind to your joints, and we never push through pain. If you have a medical condition, please check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.

How much time does it take?

About 2 hours of strength training a week, split into short sessions that fit your life. You don't need to live at the gym.

Do I need a gym?

No. You can train at a gym or at home with a few pieces of equipment. We'll help you set up a plan that works with what you have.

How is this different from programs I've tried before?

We don't put you on a diet. Most of the people we work with have already tried points, shakes and cutting calories. We focus on two things most plant-based eaters over 50 are missing: enough protein and a real strength plan, with a coach to help you stay consistent. The goal is to get stronger and lose body fat in a way you can keep for life.

What happens on the free call?

It's a relaxed conversation with Ivy, about 40 minutes. She'll ask where you are, where you want to be and what's been getting in the way. If we can help, she'll show you how. If we can't, she'll tell you that too.

Our programs are for education and fitness only and are not medical advice.

Your strongest decades are still ahead of you.

One conversation. A clear plan. A team that knows how to get you there.
